Training programme explained

The programme of the training is designed to effectively get and keep cooperation in an organisation on the map and it consists of three days. The three 'worlds' between which a cooperation moves are addressed, always with a focus on 'where do you want to be on the Scale' combined with 'how do I get there with my team?' The days are practically designed; we do many exercises and combine them with cases brought in by the participants and practice to be able to present the Scale ourselves.

De drie werelden van de Schaal van Samenwerking

The Scale as a roadmap

On day 1, the the Scale as a roadmap which is the focus of the day.

What is possible with the Scale as a roadmap and what is not. How to introduce the Scale of Cooperation and thus connect to the perceived 'reality' of a team.
Is there a lot of struggling behaviour? Then you start differently than in case there is a lot of avoidant behaviour in a team. An already well-cooperating team presents other cooperation accelerating and deepening opportunities.

Programme:

  • Team exercise/acquaintance (experiential learning)
  • The Scale of Cooperation using ground sheets (presentation)
  • The Scale applied in your own training group (practice)
  • Recognise behaviour and link it to the Scale (application)
  • Deepening through questions from the group (conversation)

Two trainers, 6 to 12 participants.

Avoiding behaviour in teams

On day 2, the second theme, avoidant behaviour which is the focus of the day.

Much has been written about working together; there are bookcases full of conflict and escalation, but there is hardly any literature on eluding groups. Yet this is the biggest group in our experience. What characterises an avoiding team, how do you recognise avoidant behaviour, and what are the options for intervention?

Programme:

  • The Scale - how does it look like (exercise)
  • Team exercise (experiential learning)
  • The Scale of Cooperation and how to use it in a team (presentation/discussion).
  • How can you use the Scale in avoidant teams? (forms of work).
  • Case study on situations in Avoiding (and Struggling) teams (discussion).
  • Team exercise (time permitting).
  • Presenting an aspect of the Scale that is important to the participant (exercise).

Two trainers, 6 to 12 participants.

Struggling behaviour in teams

On day 3, the third theme is struggling behaviour, which is the focus of the day.

A struggling team does damage. Characteristically, everyone points to the other as the culprit. As a result, learning ability diminishes, heading for the next confrontation. What interventions are then still possible? As a manager, HR officer, adviser, trainer or coach, how can you continue to function cooperatively in this? Even a struggling team yearns for good cooperation, but where do you start?

Programme:

  • Sharing experiences in working with the Scale (tuning in and sharing)

  • Exercise with the action cards.

  • Team exercise (experiential learning) and use of the Scale.

  • The Scale applied in your own training group / case study (practice).

  • Applying the Scale in Struggling groups (forms of work, including systemic work with the coaching toolbox).

  • Deepening using questions from the group (conversation).

  • Presenting a key aspect of the Scale (exercise).

  • Certification.

Two trainers, 6 to 12 participants

After participating in the three days, participants will receive a certificate.
