How is it possible that one team 'runs like clockwork' and another 'doesn't function at all'? 
Could it be that working together depends on the situation - the culture - in which the team operates? Resulting in different 'worlds' of collaboration?
That's what this website is about. We assume that there are different worlds where different behaviour causes you to be 'sucked' into the culture. That can be desirable, but it can also be a place you don't want to be. The Scale of Cooperation is a roadmap that helps to understand how cooperation is taking place and in what way you have an influence on it.

How is it possible that one team 'runs like clockwork' and another 'doesn't function at all'?

With the Scale of Cooperation, we depict and describe the interactions that take place between people in the process of working together.
The key insight is that there are different 'worlds' in which people will function differently. You already know that every person has experienced cooperation in which common goals were worked on based on trust. But we have also all experienced times when we mainly experienced resistance in working with others.
